Meet Your Facilitator
Thia brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative facilitation to her work with businesses.
Until recently, Thia was an aerospace engineer, where she developed a deep understanding of analytical thinking, systems-driven environments, and the interpersonal dynamics of high-performing technical teams. This background gives her a distinct ability to connect with professionals in technology, science, and engineering-driven fields — speaking both their language and to their challenges.
Thia discovered improvisation as a powerful counterbalance to the intensity of her engineering work. What began as a personal creative outlet quickly evolved into a professional passion. She has trained extensively, including studies with Aretha Sills —granddaughter of improv pioneer Viola Spolin — workshops at Chicago’s Bughouse Theater, and virtual programs with instructors across the U.S., U.K., and Spain.
Thia is also the founder of Improv for Good, a charitable troupe dedicated to making the benefits of improv accessible to those who need it most. Through this initiative, she provides workshops to nonprofit organizations and to underserved communities, including caregivers for individuals with dementia. These sessions offer support, connection, and practical tools for navigating high-stress, emotionally demanding environments with greater resilience and empathy.
Today, Thia designs and facilitates engaging, experiential workshops that help teams improve communication, adapt to change, and collaborate more effectively — all in a way that feels approachable, energizing, and deeply human.
With her rare combination of analytical fluency and interpersonal insight, Thia equips businesses with the soft skills they need to thrive in a fast-changing world.
